The Haines Junction Health Centre is open five days per week staffed by a collaborative health care team; they provide primary health care, public health care, and emergency services. A primary health care nursing clinic is open during office hours for walk-ins or appointment. Please call 867-634-4444 to book your appointment. There is a resident physician available by appointment only at 1-867-634-3838. During non-office hours, a nurse is on call for emergencies. The Yukon HealthLine also provides free, confidential 24-hour service available to anyone in the Yukon.
All ambulance services in the Yukon are provided through Yukon Emergency Medical Services (YEMS), through a combination of full time employees in Whitehorse, Dawson, and Watson Lake, and local volunteer EMS responders who are paid an honoraria in the rest of the communities, including Haines Junction.
