Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Trust & Confidence Community Engagement Tool – Purpose and Instructions:

Please read the below introduction prior to the completion of the enclosed questions.

Thank you for taking the time to participate in this RCMP community engagement form. Completion of the questions should take approximately 5 minutes or so. Please answer all questions honestly and try to provide a response to all questions. Your participation is voluntary, and your responses will remain entirely anonymous and confidential. As such, please try to avoid sharing any identifying information about yourself or others (e.g., names) in your response. Given your response is being recorded without any identifying information, you will not be able to retract your response. In submitting this form, you are consenting to the anonymous and confidential use of your submission for RCMP community engagement planning. The purpose of this form is for your local RCMP detachment to learn more about the extent to which your community has trust and confidence in your local RCMP. Responses will be sent by your local detachment to RCMP National Headquarters, where all responses will be compiled and analyzed, and the results shared with your local detachment for their engagement planning. Any feedback or comments that you include in this form will be shared with your local detachments verbatim, unless identifying information is included. Any identifying information will be removed. In line with the RCMP’s priority of building trust with Indigenous communities and peoples, we encourage you to share any feedback you may have with us, whether positive or negative. We truly want to hear from you so that we may better serve your community.
