PARK CAMPGROUNDS
There is one national park and one Yukon Government park campground in the immediate area of Haines Junction; both offer lakeside camping.
Pine Lake Campground, Yukon Government
On the shores of Pine Lake, this campground has a large sandy beach, good swimming, boating and fishing–great for families. A self-guided interpretive walk skirts the campground end of the lake. Paint Mountain stands guard on the lake’s north shore. In the past, local First Nations collected red ochre from the mountain and used it for dyes and paints.

Kathleen Lake Campground, National Park
This scenic campground is the only campground within the boundaries of Kluane National Park and Reserve: a self-registration campground with its own national park fee system.

- 39 sites, including 2 group camping sites with 6 tent sites each, and 2 handicap accessible sites
