HOLD YOUR FUNCTION IN THE JUNCTION
The St. Elias Convention Centre is a new meeting and conference centre in Haines Junction that offers excellent facilities and services. Overlooking the impressive St. Elias Mountains, this attractive building features a 3000-square-foot Grand Hall with retractable, theatre seating for 240 persons. The hall offers a stage, projection room, dressing rooms and food service area. In addition to the Grand Hall, the Centre also offers four meeting rooms, and over 5000 square feet of display and exhibit space.
The St. Elias Convention Centre is also home to a local history exhibit, The Cultural Landscape of Kluane, depicting significant events of the Kluane region since 1890. A growing collection of art work is also on display in the building. Check out the community attractions.
The proximity of Haines Junction to Whitehorse (158 km/98 miles), the Village’s spectacular setting at the doorstep of Kluane National Park and Reserve, and its abundant recreation opportunities, all combine to make this facility an exceptional choice for meetings and conventions.

Meeting Rooms and Basic Rental Rates
Basic room rental includes tables, chairs, coffee makers, dishes, and cutlery.
Grand Hall
Including the whole lower floor of the centre: $45 per hour, $270 per dayDezadeash Room
Seats 30-40 people: $25 per hour, $150 per dayRuby Room
Seats 10-15 people: $15 per hour, $90 per dayThe Atrium
For a small meeting or social event: $45 per hour, $270 per dayDisplay Area - $45 per hour, $270 per day
Mezzanine
Located above the Bill Brewster Arena and connected to the Convention Centre by an overhead walkway, this 2,000 square foot room will hold 150 people and includes a small kitchen area. The rates are: $25 per hour, $150 per day.
Convention and Banquet Package Rates

Audio-Visual Equipment
The following equipment is available for rent: TVs/VCRs, overhead projectors, screens, DVD's and an LCD Theatre Projector. The Grand Hall has a built-in sound system and the building has high speed wireless internet access.

A number of office services and supplies are available at the Centre. For more information contact our Facilities Coordinator.
Smoking policy
The building is smoke-free, except for the Grand Hall which has a user choice policy (no smoking is allowed if the retractable seating is in use). The Mezzanine above the Arena has a user-choice policy as well.
Accommodation
The community has a variety of accommodation, including lodges, motels, cabins and bed and breakfasts.
A variety of local restaurants and businesses offer catering services.
Many local, non-profit organizations offer support services such as servers, bartenders, coat check etc. for a nominal fee.

Leisure and Recreation Opportunities
The St. Elias Convention Centre is adjacent to a recreation complex that offers a swimming pool, curling rink, arena, outdoor basketball court, soccer field, and ball diamond.
